In recent weeks, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins have had some great matches. Both superstars continue to perform at the top of their game. However, it has to be said that they are both being heavily under-used at this point. But they both have the chance to win their first WWE Intercontinental Champion in New Orleans this Sunday.

Their opponent, The Miz, has been champion since January. Since then he has been typical Miz, getting under the skins of both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. While he is the current reigning champion, that could come to a halt.

Who will win?

I believe that a new champion will be crowned this Sunday. Let’s not forget that Finn Balor is STILL due a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship. However I don’t believe that is coming anytime soon. So with this in mind, the WWE Intercontinental Championship could be a valid token for the Demon.

On the other hand, the IC title on Seth Rollins would not go a miss. Even more prosperous, is a long-term feud between Rollins and Balor for the belt! So either way, if we get a new champion it will be worth it!

Prediction: Finn Balor to win & become new WWE Intercontinental Champion.
